"God writes straight with crooked lines"
God's Crooked Lines is a southwest-based production company set up as an outlet for all things visual from writer and director Kyran Kinlan; whether it be graphics, company branding or more of his predominate focus on short-form film.
Much of his work in Crooked Lines is inspired by Kyran's home of the Jurassic coast - musing over his relationship and connection with its heritage. He is intrigued by approaching identity through the relationship between nature and people. The extent to which our homeland shapes us and the potency of memories that are anchored in a time and place; kinds of nostalgia.

Kyran likes to approach these concepts through more experimental and haptic means, exploring why innovating traditional mediums helps harness the more elusive of human emotions - whether it be animation, mixed media, etc. God's Crooked Lines means a mantra of embracing the chaotic side of creativity, a belief that the most potent art will always grow from places of uncertainty.
