Chippel Bay is the upcoming grad short from director and writer Kyran Kinlan.
The story follows two estranged brothers, Otis and Edward, marooned on an ethereal vision of their childhood beach. To get home, they must try and unravel the distance that's now grown between them; but will their already strained relationship survive a grave revelation being held by one brother from the other? Centrally, the narrative explores the complexities of how we communicate; what we choose to say between the truth.
After a successful test screening at the University of Bristol Graduate Film Festival, Chippel Bay is now undergoing a festival run, recently achieving its first selection at the Sunday Shorts film festival.
