My work sits between documentary and fiction, and I'm interested in what's possible in that space. I want to make documentaries that don't pretend objectiveness, that embrace subjectivity and aren't afraid of the fantastical when it gets closer to the truth than the factual would. Reality told in the ways memory actually works.
I studied film at the University of Bristol. My graduate short Chippel Bay screened at the Bristol Graduate Film Festival and selected at Sunday Shorts and Lift-Off Global Network. I've worked across independent film, commercial and editorial contexts. Most recently in post-production on Blue Hands, a documentary shot across Pondicherry and Goa about marine conservation and boat safety in India.
I direct, edit and work across visual development — and I've learned that the best version of anything rarely arrives in a straight line.
